The idea to start a blog has been something that I wanted to do for a while. Last year I attended a conference and was introduced to several inspirational women which helped provide me with the confidence to go for it.
I love making people smile, have a good time and feel good about themselves. As your Favorite Brown girl Blogger I will share fashion tips, Date night ideas, self-care advice and Girls Night. As a plus size girl, I want to highlight my full figured ladies, inspiring them to own their body size, body shape and fashion style. As a brown girl, I gained weight after having two children and struggled with my own insecurities about my fashion choices. I have always loved fashion and was not feeling comfortable with the look I was presenting. I identified by insecurities and created the style that I am comfortable in.
As women we wear so many hats...mom, spouse, career and everything that falls under other. We make it look easy, but there are days we need some me time. I will share ideas on how to make time for you!
I believe that I have found my purpose in life which is inspiring others .
Ladies, in addition to my Blog, I have started a small business, selling handmade earrings, T-Shirts, my “Your Favorite Brown girl” T-Shirts.

I also had the opportunity to connect with Actress, singer, Comedian Brely Evans that has starred in many television roles and movies such as Ambitious, The Family business, and Being Mary Jane . POP UP SHOPPING !!
I started my pop up shop journey as a vendor for my brand BrolinRochelle May of 2022 and it has been one of the most fun experiences that I've had, from meeting customers, networking with other small business owners, building business relationships and friendships.
Now to the good stuff!! Shopping Pop ups. Why should you POP up shop?
Pop-Up shops support local small business owners and their brand. Pop up shops are designed to introduce the vendors owners products it’s also good for marketing as well. They are opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and passion.
Many items sold are handmade by the owner or are unique exclusive pieces that range in small quantities so that you and only a few others have it.
Items range from handmade candles, clothing boutiques, treats, jewelry, some handmade, unique t-shirts, specialty handmade body creams and scents, and so much more. These items are what I consider treasures compared to your large retail chains.
Vendors often travel to other small towns or large cities just to get their brand out there sometimes by private invitation or a small vendor fee to set up their products.
The size and location of the venue varies from large spaces to small and can be held in doors our outdoors. Just an idea of where you often see these events held in your local community , may be inside of a beauty
salon, a rented conference room, an Art Gallery, or even a community center (you get the idea).
In my mind they are meant to be intimate and allow you an opportunity to meet and talk directly with the owner (some one-on-one) (now that’s what I love the most connecting with many personalities) and the owner an opportunity to showcase their products.
POP UP SHOPS also remind me of a small town square your local business owners that stand out in the community.
The BrolinRochelle Brand has grown so much over this year by participating in various POP UP SHOPs and marketing via social media as you never know who is watching your product. I can certainly attest to that heck I was featured on a local news station ARSTYLE KARK 4 what an experience for my brand it was. I always strive to provide wonderful customer service and my big fashionable personality this is what I believe the customers love and admire and guarantees them to return to you and your services.
If you haven't shopped at a Pop Up shop, I encourage you check one out soon. You will be amazed by the quality of the products and the talent of these entrepreneurs. Most businesses advertise via social media as that is what is the most trending and biggest marketing tool right now.
